Business, Management Issues
QuoteReply
What kinds of issues are affecting your business? When covering a story, some of the same themes we hear coming from interviews are a lack of skilled labor, the increasing cost or limited availability of materials, increased transportation costs and low-priced imports from China and elsewhere. Are any of these issues having an impact on your business? If so, what are you doing to overcome these obstacles?

Rising transportation costs are increasingly difficult to deal with. IMO the biggest reason is because poor market conditions are discouraging companies from passing them on. Many companies are so desperate to hang on to shrinking market share that they're willing to wait and hope someone else will make the first move so they can follow suit.
